90% of the community offers 1 and 2 bedrooms. There are very limited Studio and 3 bedroom lofts.

1 Bedroom - $945/month
2 Bedroom - $1122/month
3 Bedroom - $1184-1291/month

Artist Qualifications

At least one member of the household must demonstrate a commitment to the art form in order to qualify for residency. The creation and sale of one’s work does NOT have to be the source of income for the individual or the family in order to qualify. Please keep in mind that the intent is NOT to judge the content and relative quality of an applicant's creative work. The intent IS to gain an understanding of an applicant's commitment to a life in the arts as well as the applicant's desire to be a part of an active community of creative people committed to making a positive impact on the lives of their neighbors and their neighborhood. We will send you to another website where you will be able to fill out an artist application. You will need to answer 3 essay questions (with word length limitations), submit your resume/bio and upload your artwork.

Some examples of artists include:

FINE ARTISTS: Painting, drawing, sculpture, book art and print making
PEOPLE WHO CREATE IMAGINATIVE WORKS: Aesthetic literature, costume design, photography, music composition and architecture
FUNCTIONAL & CRAFT ARTISTS: Jeweler, potter, chef, quilt maker, silk screener, carpet maker, furniture maker, and toy designer
PERFORMERS: Singers, musicians, dancers, actors and performance artists
MEDIA ARTISTS: Radio, film, television, multi-media, cyber-art, gaming and animation
DESIGN ARTISTS: Graphic and web design, interior design, aesthetic design, package design and set design

Income Qualifications

The maximum (annual) household income limits are as follows:

1 OCCUPANT = $37,980
2 OCCUPANTS = $43,440
3 OCCUPANTS = $48,840
4 OCCUPANTS = $54,240
5 OCCUPANTS = $58,620
6 OCCUPANTS = $62,940

Student Qualifications

A household that contains full-time students will need to meet one of the following exemptions:

1. Received MFIP
2. Enrolled in a job training program receiving assistance under the Job Training Participation Act (JTPA)
3. Married entitled to file a joint Federal income tax return with spouse
4. Single parent with a dependent child/children 
5. Former foster child in transition to independence
6. Have a household member, who will not be a full-time student, living in the apartment

What to Bring

$300 deposit to reserve your loft 
*$35 non-refundable application fee for all adult applicants
*Social Security Cards for all applicants (copies are acceptable.)
*State Issued I.D. for all adults (Drivers Licenses or a picture I.D)
*If anyone in the household receives SS/SSI/SSA you will need a letter that is dated within the last 120 days.
*If anyone in the household is employed: The last 6 to 8 consecutive paycheck stubs. Phone number, fax number and address of employer
*If anyone in the household is receiving unemployment: Computer generated weekly payment printout/history
*If you have a court order child support: Please bring the whole court order whether it is child custody, divorce decree or computerize printout of payments received. 
*If you are Self-Employed and started your business in 2014 or earlier: Please bring in your 2015 - 1040 Federal Taxes with schedule C: Please bring in 3 months of financial statements (income/expense reports)- bank statements will not be accepted in lieu of financials
*If you are Self-Employed and started your business in 2015: Please bring in 3 months of financial statements (income/expense reports)or start of business to current if you have not been in business longer than 3 months.
*If you have assets: Please bring in a list of all assets with bank names and account numbers.Please know what your current balance is and what the interest rate is.
*If you own a house: A current mortgage statement: If you are renting it to someone- a current lease will be required.
